Dr Neil Campbell is a member of the Roads and Transport as well as the Health Portfolio Committees and is the Constituency Head for Greater Alberton including Thokosa.
Dr Campbell holds a Degree in Dental Science Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Prior to joining politics he had a successful career as a Dental Surgeon in private practice. He was heavily involved in the running of the South African Dental Association where, as Chairperson of the Private Practice Committee he undertook numerous taxings of dental accounts for both the public and Medical Schemes. This resulted in him eventually leaving private practice to become the first full-time Dental Advisor in South Africa. He was later appointed CEO of the South African Dental Association and a Member of the Medical and Dental Board of the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Dr Campbell currently serves as a Board Member of the Profession Provident Society and is a member of the Institute of Directors.
Neil is married with three children. When his not busy with politics, he spends his time reading, and photographing wildlife especially birds.
