Today, 07 March 2016, Democratic Alliance Leader, Mmusi Maimane MP, will launch the Party’s #FairSA campaign.
This follows the DA’s May 2015 Federal Congress where the Values Charter, based on the values of Freedom, Fairness and Opportunity, was adopted. Furthermore, the Federal Congress adopted the Vision 2029 programme of action for building a better South Africa through 10 years of a DA National government, from 2019 – 2029.
The #FairSA campaign provides the DA’s vision for what a ‘fair South Africa’ will be under a DA government, and the Party’s articulation of how existing policy offers of the Party can create a more equitable society.
The #FairSA policies talk to the issues of structural racism, land reform, B-BBEE, employment equity and diversity, for example.
The campaign launch will take place as follows:
Date: Today, 07 March 2016
Venue: Matangwaneng Ground, Ramotse Village, Hammanskraal
Coordinates: 25°20’44.5″S 28°17’51.4″E
The DA Leader will be joined by DA Gauteng Provincial Leader, John Moodey MPL, Tshwane Mayoral Candidate, Solly Msimanga MPL, and Johannesburg Mayoral Candidate, Herman Mashaba.
