DA Gauteng Urges Parents to Use Online Registration Process

DA Gauteng urges parents to use online registration process to avoid long queues
April 21, 2015

The DA in Gauteng urges parents in the province to register their children for 2016 academic year as soon as possible,  by also making use of the recently launched Gauteng Education registration online application process.Khume Ramulifho, MPL: DA Gauteng Shadow MEC for Education

Whilst walk-ins are still welcomed, the online application process eliminates administration on the part of parents and school staff and saves time thus increasing efficiency.

School registrations which will close on the 26 May 2015 will enable proper planning by the education department for the year ahead,  and provide the education department adequate information on the required resources for schools in our province.

Late applications put huge pressure to schools and the department. The past experience has proven to be difficult and has seen delay in starting the academic year.

Education is a national priority and any efforts to facilitate the process in achieving this priority, is well noted.
